Building the gables in the back yard. Not sure how they got all this installed. Never saw the crane.
See the Corbels are installed.
Rounded corner leading into the master bedroom. Other side is the closet.
Top view.
Surprise! They put the rafters and roof up in one day.
Check out the indoor\outdoor fireplace on the main floor between the windows.
Kitchen Island getting framed.
Took a few days to get the Dormer installed.
(A dormer is a structural element of a building that protrudes from the plane of a sloping roof surface. Dormers are used, either in original construction or as later additions, to create usable space in the roof of a building by adding headroom and usually also by enabling addition of windows.)
Covered deck finally gets a roof, took about a week to get the roof on.
Two supports were installed to hold up these I-Beams. Eman likes beams.
Back of the 3rd car garage and more corbels.
This better be set at ZERO ZERO ZERO ZERO zero zero.
Installed a steel shim to keep the correct beam height. They had a couple 2x4's in here before. They also glued it in place.
And it rains...
Fancy arched door into the master bath. See the coffered ceiling getting prepped.
Basement swimming pool.
The garage gets a sweet window. The view is spectacular!!
All the main floor windows were installed in one day. We got really excited about our windows. We took a a lot of pictures of windows. We (Stacey) added these windows to the master suite. Bed is going between them.
Front bed room\ office (wow den) view. More rain.
Kitchen\Dinning room win-ders.
Not sure what is going on with the window in the center. It has a secondary window tacked to the main window.
Fireplace and fireplace windows.
This view is from the master suite door to the deck.
This window is in the master bath. It's rain glass so our neighbors can't spy on me when I'm shaving. Cost a little $ to make it pretty.
Rafter pron.
Pikes Peak view.
More rafter porn. Tell Stacey good job for having her hard hat on.
Big TV will go here with a super kick ass surround sound! Hopefully. If you had any idea how much time I'm spending on surround sound research you would be shocked.
and where we are... shingles are on the roof to be installed... till next blog...
